Public Health Physician and Medical Epidemiologist, Public Health Ontario Assistant Professor, Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto Adjunct Scientist, ICES

Dr. Sarah Wilson is a public health physician/medical epidemiologist at Public Health Ontario (PHO) in Communicable Diseases, Emergency Preparedness and Response. In this role, she provides support to the surveillance of vaccine-preventable diseases, immunization coverage and vaccine safety, outbreak management and contributes to applied public health research focussed on immunization. Since February 2020, she has been actively involved in PHO’s Incident Management System to support the COVID-19 response.

Dr. Wilson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Public Health and Preventive Medicine and a graduate of the Canadian Field Epidemiology Program of the Public Health Agency of Canada. She is an Assistant Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, an Adjunct Scientist at ICES and is a member Canada’s National Advisory Committee on Immunization.
